Hounslow Council has given more than £150,000 to community groups helping young people during the summer holidays.

The money is paying for activities like boxing, music, cooking, arts and sports.

The aim of the projects are to give children and teenagers a safe place to have fun, learn new skills and make friends.

The council says the funding is also helping families who may struggle to afford activities during the school holidays.
