Harlequins’ Women have broken the World Record for attendance at a Women’s club rugby match at yesterdays Big Game in Twickenham.

It was the fourth year running the club has broken the record, with 18,055 supporters in attendance at Allianz Stadium.

Quins ran in eight tries against Leicester Tigers, securing a 42-17 victory.

Harlequins Women’s Head Coach Ross Chisholm said: “We are entering a huge year for the women’s game, and this is a fantastic way to kick that off.”
