A dominant performance from the hosts Harlequins saw them secure a bonus-point try just after half-time without reply from the visitors Newcastle Falcons.

The first 20 minutes were very tight between the two sides but the Quartered Men started to pull away after Hooker Sam Riley added the downward pressure from a rolling maul in the 17th minute.

Dino Lamb, birthday boy Nick David, and captain Alex Dombrandt added the extra three tries for the bonus point before spectacular acrobatics from Louis Lynagh on his 50th cap and Tyrone Green from a cross-field kick by Marcus Smith finished off the scoring for the hosts.

The boot of Jarrod Evans was strong, missing only one conversion; Marcus Smith rounding off the conversions when he came on to the field of play.

Newcastle Falcons earned an unconverted try and penalty try in return but their losing streak continues.
