GMB members within the Housing and Homeless Department of Croydon Council are heading into their second day of strike action.

The dispute centres around the restructure of the department following the council’s bankruptcy in November last year.

Demonstrations and a photocall will take place outside their place of work today.

They’re demanding that their experience should be used to make savings, rather than decisions made by newly placed managers.
