Epsom’s MP has launched a petition calling for a consultation on the use of e-bikes and e-scooters by the end of the year.

Lib Dem, Helen Maguire, says police are having to rely on laws not designed for the problem.

She wants the Government to launch a consultation that will inform the way e-bikes and e-scooters are sold, modified and used.

The petition comes as Surrey Police prepares to crackdown on illegal e-bikes and e-scooters by seizing and destroying them.
