England’s Tom Curry has been given a two game ban from the Rugby World Cup with a further one match ban suspended if he completes a coaching intervention programme.

The flanker from Hounslow had a yellow card upgraded to red for a dangerous tackle in the early stages of their tournament opener in Marseille.

Curry will miss the Pool fixtures against Japan and Chile.
