England manager Sarina Wiegman says Fran Kirby’s knee injury is “minor”, but she’s left the squad to avoid taking any risks.

The Chelsea forward suffered the setback during the warm-up ahead of the Lionesses 7-2 win against Austria on Friday.

Kirby’s only started 12 matches for her club in the last 18 months.

Wiegman says she’s not concerned by that.
