England manager Gareth Southgate has remembered Former England and Crystal Palace Manager Terry Venables as someone who “enjoyed life to the full” following his death at the age of 80.

Southgate – who was part of his Euro 96 squad – says he “allowed his players to flourish”.

Former England defender Gary Neville describes Venables as the “number one” coach of his international career.

While David Seaman says he was “by far the best England manager”.
