It is round three of the Six Nations Rugby Championship.
Wales fought hard against Ireland in the first match of the day, and their first game since Head Coach Warren Gatland stepped down, but ultimately they came up short. Ireland secured the Triple Crown and are the only nation this year to remain in the running for the Grand Slam.
The second game saw England face Scotland in the oldest of rugby rivalries; Scotland were looking to make history with a fifth consecutive win in the Calcutta Cup; England were hoping to build upon their win against France in the previous round. Both teams had something to prove and Radio Jackie’s Natalie Osborne reports from the Allianz Stadium in Twickenham:
Italy face France tomorrow; kick-off 15:00hrs.
