The anticlockwise exit slip road at junction 11 will shut from 11pm on Friday until 5am on Monday.
Traffic will be diverted along the anticlockwise carriageway and drivers will have to use Junction 10 for the A3 to turnaround.
Further lane closures will be needed on the slip roads to finish the works at a later date.
