Dozens of vehicles have had their tyres slashed at a Jaguar dealership in Exeter by activists opposed to SUVs.

A group called Tyre Extinguishers claims campaigners destroyed them in an “act of retaliation” for a fatal incident in Wimbledon.

Two young girls were killed when a Land Rover crashed into their school next to Wimbledon Common last month.

8 year olds Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau died and seven others were injured after the car went through a fence.

The group says their action was intended as a “non-violent demonstration to draw attention to the presence of grossly inappropriate private vehicles in our towns and cities.”
