Don’t be alarmed if you see a number of pirate vessels sailing along the Thames through Kingston this afternoon.

The annual Pirate Rafting Party is taking place, departing at Teddington lock at 1.30.

Participants are urged to dress as pirates and sail to Richmond on a mix of boats, SUPs, kayaks and pedalos.
