If you’ve been thinking about setting up a charitable project or initiative but need some help to think it through, there’s an interactive online session especially for people in Richmond on Wednesday the 4th of October.

The council says there’s been a surge in community action and this ‘Starting Up: how to become a charity or social enterprise’ session has been created for anyone setting up, or thinking of setting up, a community group, charity or social enterprise in our borough.

An experienced coach and fundraising trainer will lead you through the key information you need to know, including legal structures, leadership risks, raising funds, how to plan your project and your finances.

There’s the opportunity for eligible attendees to access one-to-one follow-up support to help develop your ideas, plus it’s a great way to informally network and potentially build some peer support from like-minded individuals.

Find out more and book your place at the Richmond CVS Training and Events webpage.
