Detectives say three suspects – believed to be behind the stabbing of an Iranian TV journalist – fled the UK just hours afterwards.

36-year-old Pouria Zeraati was attacked outside his home in Wimbledon on Friday.

Police say he was approached by two men in a residential street before they left the scene in a vehicle, driven by a third male.

It was later found abandoned in New Malden.
