Cycle lanes to be made permanent in Chelsea and Kensington due to mass support in council consultation.

Cycle lanes will be made permanent in Kensington and Chelsea after more than 60% of people said they supported the move.

A council consultation on the proposed lanes for Kensington High Street and Fulham Road took place between May and June.

The authority had 1,775 responses and says around 66% of people supported the measures in full or part for Kensington High Street.

For Fulham Road, it was higher at 71%.
