There are 17 new pieces of equipment including tractors, ride on and specialist bank mowers.
One of the machines will be used to create wildflower meadows, to help biodiversity and the “pollinator corridor” in the borough.
The money has come from Croydon’s capital fund which aims to invest in the future of the borough.
