Croydon Council has placed security guards outside a block of flats in the borough to prevent people who don’t live there from entering it.

The authority says it is part of a plan of action with the Met Police to tackle antisocial behaviour.

Partial closure orders have also been placed on a number of other properties.

This means the tenant can enter, but the only visitors allowed will be the landlord, managing agents and healthcare providers.
