Croydon Council has managed to secure £500,000 in funding for a creative digital lab.

Based in Weatherill House, off Purley Way, the space will help to support local businesses and enable residents to upskill.

The facilities will include a digital audio production suite, post-production editing facilities, recording studio and a training suite.

Local charity StartUp Croydon, who helped secure the funding, has contributed additional funding of £400,000 via other grant sources.
