Croydon Council has been told to fix “repeated, systemic failures” with how it handles Freedom of Information requests.

The Information Commissioners Officer says that it had previously raised concerns, and the authority’s performance has since declined.

They issued an enforcement notice, telling them to respond to all requests over 20 days old within six months.
