The authority has launched a consultation on proposed changes to its Council Tax Support Scheme from next April.
The initiative offers financial assistance to residents on low-incomes or benefits, to help them pay the tax.
It’s hoped the proposed changes will help address a £30 million funding shortfall and protect vital services.
