It’s to be installed on Church Road by the rec after funding was secured by councillor, Mark Sugden.
Surveys were done on vehicle speed and pedestrian footfall, and a feasibility study was carried out as part of the process.
The funding has been approved by Surrey County Council under its annual £3 million Integrated Transport Scheme Budget.
