The council says it is the only London Borough running Holiday Activities and Food clubs in half-terms.
Merton has extended them to the October, February and May school breaks with money from the council’s £3 million Cost of Living Fund.
The clubs ran during half terms for the first time last year and 2,400 children took part in them.
