Chelsea manager Emma Hayes is backing Lauren James to make an impact if picked for England’s Women’s World Cup final against Spain on Sunday.

James has missed the last two games of the tournament through suspension after being sent off against Nigeria in the last-16.

Ella Toone played in her place.

Hayes – who coaches James at club level – says the midfielder is ready to deliver on Sunday.
