Chelsea have confirmed their long-serving women’s goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger has left to join Gotham FC in the USA.

The German has helped the club win four Women’s Super League titles since she joined from Birmingham in 2019.

But England international Hannah Hampton has since established herself as first choice.
