Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is confident the club’s Academy stars can rise to the challenge when handed a chance to impress.

They are up against AFC Wimbledon in tonight’s EFL Cup tie.

Mason Burstow, Lesley Ugochukwu and Noni Madueke are all expected to be given starts against their League Two opponents.

Pochettino admits he needs to manage the workload on a squad which is already depleted by injury.
