Chelsea boss Emma Hayes says her love of Star Wars has taught her important messages that are “essential in life”.

They face Sunderland in the quarter-finals of the Women’s League Cup tomorrow in what will be their sixth game in 18 days.

Hayes is leaving Chelsea to join the USA national team at the end of the season and was asked about her energy levels during her final campaign in charge.
