The council’s trading standards seized nearly 3,000 unsafe vapes from one store in Central Parade, which has been prosecuted and fined.
The council has also been working with volunteer teenagers to carry out test purchases in Croydon as part of enforcement activities.
As part of this, two more stores were found to be selling age restricted items during the test purchases, and were also fined in magistrates court.
