British tennis number one Jack Draper says defeat in the final of the Madrid Open “hurts” but will make him a better player.

He lost out in a deciding set to Norway’s Casper Ruud.

Draper, who’s from Sutton, will still rise to fifth in the latest world rankings.

The 23-year-old tells us, his opponent was a worthy champion.
