British tennis number one Jack Draper continued his good form with a straight sets victory over Lucian Darderi at the Italian Open.

The world number five, from Sutton, took the opening set 6-1 – but was pushed closer in the second round winning it 6-4.

Draper says his rise up the rankings has improved his confidence.

He faces Czech player Vit Kopriva in the third round.
