British number one Cameron Norrie has the got UK off to a flying start in the Australian Open.

The Putney-based tennis player beat Alex de Minaur in his opening match two-one on sets in Melbourne.

He went out in the third round of the singles competition last year, losing three-two to the Czech Jiri Lehecka.

But the left-hander has impressed in Australia in his first match.

Great Britain are into a 1-0 lead in its Group C tie against Australia.
