Britain’s largest Mosque, the Baitul Futuh in Morden, will hold a “prayers for peace” this afternoon.

It’s hoped the event will bring Jews, Christians and Muslims under one roof in solidarity with the situation in Israel and Palestine.

Organisers say the aim of the prayer session is to send out a message that “peace is the core of all faiths.”

The event starts at 4 o’clock.
