Bonuses for polluting water bosses are going to be banned as water reforms are signed into law.

Under changes brought in by the Water Act there’ll also be automatic fines for companies which flout the rules.

The government says it’ll become easier for the Environment Agency to bring criminal charges against executives who break regulations.
