Barriers could be installed in Staines high street in a bid to restrict vehicle access to a stretch of road.

They would be locked between 9:30am and 5:30pm from Monday to Saturday and all-day Sundays.

Emergency services and market traders would be unaffected by the changes.

A survey into the proposed changes closes on 7 April.
