Anti-Heathrow expansion campaigners are eagerly awaiting a possible update in John Healey’s first Budget this lunchtime.

The Chancellor’s already said a third runway has “always been a case for growth” while the Prime Minister says it’s “a case for Londoners.”

Heathrow’s chief executive Thomas Woldbye is warning that not building a third runway would be a “huge, missed opportunity”.
