Another sound system has been banned from this year’s Notting Hill Carnival by Kensington and Chelsea Council.

The authority has rejected an application for a Temporary Event Notice by Starliner Diamond Sound System and Bar.

The decision was made after the applicant did not attend a licensing meeting or provide a risk assessment or event management plan.

The sound system usually operates along the route at the junction of Appleford Road and Bosworth Road.
