One of the first letters that will arrive on his desk is from Richmond Council’s Lib Dem leader, Gareth Roberts.
He’s calling for the new PM to back his campaign to introduce Proportional Representation at elections.
The letter follows a motion at Full Council where councillors highlighted the importance of different political voices and opinions being heard, despite the Lib Dems currently holding all seats on the council.
