Archaeologists have found a late Bronze age – early iron age settlement near Painshill with remains of at least five roundhouses.
The site has revealed artefacts, including ditches, which show that the settlement was maintained over a long period of time.
They were discovered by Oxford Archaeologists working on behalf of National Highways.
