An uninsured driver from Addlestone has avoided jail after she was caught running a red light at the Wisley Interchange.

Officers detained 23-year-old Syeda Tasnim Uddin, who then gave a family member’s name when questioned.

Uddin pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, driving without due care and attention and perverting the course of justice.

She was handed a four-month suspended jail sentence, fined £1,400, and ordered to carry out rehabilitation activities.
