An investigation’s been launched after a man died when officers were called to reports of a child being assaulted in South Norwood.

Police entered a property in the area where they found a 45-year-old experiencing a medical emergency during the early hours of yesterday morning.

The Met Police says he was ‘very agitated and actively resisting against officers’.

He was taken to hospital where he died.
