An information video put together by a lecturer at the University of Surrey has been viewed more than 4.9 million times in a week.

Dr Jonathan Deane, from the School of Mathematics and Physics, features in the video alongside science educator Steve Mould.

It helps explain the Wirtz pump he’s installed to water his bog garden.

As well as becoming an internet sensation, Dr Deane has also captured the imagination of Blur who visited his home to learn more.
