The monument, dedicated to those who lost their lives in WWII, overlooks the River Thames on Cooper’s Hill in Englefield Green and carries the names of more than 20,000 people.
The late Queen Elizabeth II officially opened the memorial in 1953.
The sunset ceremony will include wrath laying.
