An ashes pendant found in Epsom High Street has been reunited with its owner.

The jewellery was handed in to police last week by a passer-by.

Epsom and Ewell Beat said it was claimed by a woman yesterday and that the pendant contained the ashes of her late husband.

In a social media post, police said she “collected her dear John and was able to quote word for word the inscription on the back of the pendant.”
