Amanda Knox has defended her show at Edinburgh Fringe following calls for it to be cancelled.

She was falsely imprisoned for the murder of Meredith Kercher, a student from Coulsdon, in Italy in 2007, making headlines globally.

Ms Knox says Cartwheel is a performance about raising a daughter in a world that’s unfair for women.

But Meredith’s sister, Stephanie, thinks the comedy trivialises female violence.
