Around 25 firefighters tackled the blaze at a mid-terraced house on Freelands Avenue, with the first floor badly damaged.
Fire crews were called to the blaze just before 3pm.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by the failure of a lithium-ion battery in a power bank.
