It’s reported the pedestrian was hit on Eden Street at the junction with Ladybooth Road just before 9 o’clock this morning.
Police have closed Clarence Street into Eden Street to carry out investigations.
The woman was taking to hospital via air ambulance and her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
