Kate Knight, who is 64, will compete in the Beachy Head Marathon in East Sussex.
After running the marathon today, she plans to run the Beachy Head Half Marathon tomorrow.
She is taking part to raise money for Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust charity.
