A woman from Chessington says a fatal attack by a suspected XL bully dog has destroyed her family.

Cam Maguire took her dog Beau for a walk around Bonesgate Open Space on Wednesday evening, where a larger dog matching the appearance of an XL bully attacked.

Beau sadly died at the scene. Another local resident has been left injured by trying to break up the attack.

Ms Maguire’s family have been left devastated and support the Government’s plan to ban the breed.
