A volunteer at the Swan Sanctuary in Shepperton still has a long way to go if he wants his petition to ban catapults debated in Parliament.

The document by Danni Rogers has amassed more than 10,000 signatures which means the government must now respond.

But it needs 100,000 by the end of May in order for MPs to debate it.
