A special anniversary plaque has been unveiled at New Covent Garden Market by Battersea’s MP.
The UK’s largest fruit, vegetable and flower market is celebrating its 50th anniversary year with a new public installation.
The Garden Wall features a collection of personalised plaques from individuals and businesses connected to the market.
Wanda Goldwag, OBE, is chair of the Covent Garden Market; she says it still has a huge place in modern society.
