A shopkeeper has been fined nearly £5,000 for selling a vape to a child in Thornton Heath.

Lalbaz Safi, the owner of Mobile and Vape, pleading guilty to the offence after the Council carried out a test purchasing exercise.

He was also fined for selling non-compliant vapes and for selling hair products that did not have a batch number.

104 suspected non-compliant vapes and other items including 93 hair dye products were seized from the shop.
